Following on from 2020's 'Acquiescence' and a brief hiatus, Caliorange are back with their first EP on Adaptation Music, a superb deep house three tracker entitled 'Illuminated EP', with the track titles most likely familiar with the deep thinkers and truth seekers out there.

The opening track is the deep, driving, captivating and atmospheric 'Worlds In Collision', with classic Detroit style chords and pads, deep sub bass line and spoken word vocals which discuss the book mentioned in the title, a book which challenged mainstream science when published, was ridiculed and then many parts of it were proved to be correct many years later, with more likely to come to fruition in the future.

The next track 'Vedic Principles' takes 'atmospheric' to the next level and is a dreamy, space themed affair with sweeping pads, ethereal stabs and chords alongside sounds from both nature and outer space with the addition of various spoken word vocals. The theme with this track relates to the principles of flight and more coming from vedic sources but claimed by western factions millennia later.

Completing the EP is 'Orwellian Notes', the title of which will appear apt to some concerning current world events. The track is another Detroit influenced number with garage beats, sweeping soulful chords, a Roy Ayers-esque lead and old school vibes in the breaks.
