Adaptation Music welcomes Vinyl Dealer to the label for the first time with the brilliant deep house four tracker entitled 'Groove Matters EP'.

Opening the EP is the brilliant 'We Wanna Groove' which has old school Detroit written all over it. Old school chord stabs, cool vocal snippets and tidy synth work all contribute to making this a hypnotic Kerri Chandler-esque main room affair. Keeping on the old school tip but with a deeper feel is 'We Are Black' with lush sweeping chords and a cool bassline. For the next track, Vinyl Dealer teams up with fellow producer Sware for 'Our Groove' which also has very nice sweeping chords but with an injection of funk in amongst the beautiful harmonies. Last but by no means least in 'Lost in Translation' which is a very reflective track with captivating and emotional Chicago style jazzy keys, completing a fantastic four track EP!
